We knew there was a chance that Joey's visit to the vet today might be a one way trip and so it was. Hence the shot of him yesterday. His time with us was too short but we cherish it, for it was precious. At least the pain has gone and he is at peace. That is all we can ask and hope that he can find a celestial running track, for that is what he loved more than anything.
