A new haunt.

Must return either with wellies, or when it's a bit drier.

I had an idea ... Instead of firtling around behind the disputer with USB plugs, why not bring them forrard? Short USB extension + hub.
1st try ... REMEMBER to "R.T.F.M." I hadn't noticed the damthing was "a wee bit queer" i.e. male at both ends.
2nd try ... The lass who served us 1st time was on again, crack was good, she was from Wigton and knew Maryport fairly well.
Anyway. She couldn't help spotting the camera. She pointed us over into a corner of the "carp-ark" where there was a bit of a gap in the mass of vegetation. Bit of a steep slope, but not beyond our abilities, so we sidled down and found the River Petteril. Strangely it happens to be "Petteril bridge".

A teacher of my acquaintance was horrified to find the kids didn't know
"Which river flows under Eamont Bridge?"
My response was
"O.K. smart-arse, which river flows under Pooley Bridge?"
The defence rests yer Honour.

This is looking "Up the way", "Down the way" there was a reasonable track which, after 20yds or so required wading. So we didn't.

I've just had a look on Google© Maps, it looks bone dry, obviously a lot less rain that year.
