Looking Towards St Ann's...

New Cathedral Street, a pedestrian walkway built following the 1996 Manchester bomb, leads into St Ann's Square. In the distance is the tower of St Ann's Church (dwarfed by the Beetham Tower - Manchester's tallest building) which marks the true centre of the city. St Ann's Square plays host to a wide variety of markets every year and soon will be one of the sites hosting Manchester's famous Christmas Markets that run from mid-November.
