Garlic Mushrooms a la Delia

OMG I can't remember the last time we had these, Delia Smith's garlic mushrooms. The husband is on statins. He's OK. Not so sure about me, but if I die tonight I die happy. They were delish, and will be followed by a spag bols we have yet to eat. Oh and Catherine Wheel's "Black Metallic" just came on the ipad. Brill :)
