Austral Thrush on a Pehuen

Woken this morning by this lovely thrush – beautiful voice but very, very loud and right outside my hotel window. Here he is, perched on a Pehuen tree (in English we know this as the Monkey Puzzle). It took me a long time to find him – and he isn’t even camouflaged.

[Bariloche, Argentina]

English name: Austral Thrush
Argentine Name: Zorzal Patagonico
Latin classification: Turdus falklandii
