Stained glass

This is a stained glass feature in the door of the hotel where we'd been staying in Glasgow for the last couple of nights. The hotel was built in 1902 and still has original Edwardian features including this. The window had been commissioned by it's original owner who was in shipping.

The weather wasn't too good today. After a lovely morning coffee, in a great tearoom on the Byre's Road (one for you Suze), we headed on down to Kelvingrove Park. This was where the weather really gave up on us and I gave up on taking shots. My lens did not appreciate the rain at all!

We've had a great weekend, lovely to see old friends and catch up with them.
