Monument Track

Had a magnificent mountain bike ride today with Mrs KD. From sea-level at Purau, up to the saddle, then up Monument Track (brutal) to an unnamed summit, then across to Mt Herbert (918m - highest point on Banks Peninsula) and a thrilling descent to Purau. Total ascent of 1,100 metres and just 20km travelled.

That was a good day.
