This is Spicy Carrot and Pumpkin cake but without the carrot... well it was my birfday yesterday. Very moist and rather nice, and I got the recipe from this post by Veronica.

The rest of the pumpkin, a good half, is going to enrich the compost heap because I've had enough of it now, and anyway I've run out of containers to freeze the soup in. Gifts of fruit and vegetables are very much a mixed blessing.
