Connection

Is there a connection between the stormy weather and dead animal?
Yesterday I walked at the same place and there were no dead animal. Today, a dead rat and this dead hare. I walk often at this dike, and there are almost never dead animal.

The only thing that has changed since yesterday is the heavy storm this night and morning.
