Thank you son

We limbered up this morning and headed to the Giardini (past the badly painted boat) for the Bienniale and a day of art viewing.

Lots of things to love and make you think. Some make you think wow or hmmmm or what the hell or a mixture of everything all at once. There is so much to take in. This blip is from the Canada pavillion created by an artist called Shary Boyle.

The rest of the day followed local customs: spritz, prosecco and afternoon snoozing before heading back out in the evening for spritz and prosecco... A wee bar crawl from Cannaregio to St Marks.
