Nachito Herrera

Nachito Herrera is a Cuban Jazz pianist. We have heard him play four or five times before. He put on a show in Watertown tonight and brought along a 12 piece strings orchestra of U of M students, a bass player, drummer, three singers and a 5 piece wind ensemble. They put on a fantastic and very eclectic show. Unfortunately we felt that we didn't hear enough of just Nachito on the piano.

We are very fortunate to have had a state of the art performing arts center built onto our high school about 5 years ago. We get a nice variety of professional groups coming to perform.

I took some photos at the concert but they were not good, so I must give photo credit here to my husband. He had permission to sneak around and was able to get some really great shots.
