"Technically" ...

...Out of my range...however, I've recruited John to tell you a little about this scene, which is of the old Goods shed - just a little around the corner...

...The old Goods trains still run here a couple of times a week, busier during the harvest season ofcourse, and not so many years ago, so did the passenger trains, but once one of our governments came into power - they saw wisdom in ceasing the operation of the passenger trains much to the terrible disappointment of the local people who are still trying to - "Get the Train Back".. Buses we have to catch..

...But here we see, next to the Goods shed - a remnant from the past - a carry over from when the Steam trains ran right here too and they were the main source of power along these lines..

...The old Turn Table is still here for all to see...in the old days the old steam engines had to be 'turned around' as well as any rolling stock at the end of their journey so that they could return to Melbourne for another trip..all part of the history of the old trains in the district too, and still sitting there as if it just yesterday..and just around the corner..for all to see...
