Gorleston Cliffs

We had planned to go to the cinema but that plan was blighted by us being stuck in traffic en route and 10 miles from home, it was apparent that we wouldn't make the screening even though I'd left an hour to do the 24 mile trip. This resulted in much thought in what to do with a 10yo keen to be out but with my limited funds.
A trip to Gorleston resulting in us partaking on the Trim Trail and eating a handful of snacks. Then the thing that she enjoyed most, a tennis ball, providing much fun and entertainment on the open cliff top green, how can this be in today's technology fuelled society. Just throwing a ball some distance between us trying to hit each other with it and sending it skywards to see who could catch it as it fell back to earth. A walk on the sands and build a castle then more throw ball and job done. Child happy and exercised.
