Holland House

I'm staying in this lovely house tonight along with most of the Church of England clergy (from Sutton Coldfield, I'd meant to say - managed to miss that qualifier somehow) for our annual Residential Chapter. I've lost count of the number of times I have stayed here since the early 1980's and have seen it improve considerably in that time. Of course there are some signs of modern living, but this is a wonderful Arts & Crafts house with many of the original features still in evidence. It is the Worcester Diocesan retreat house, but they let us come from over the border in Birmingham Diocese! It is a year since my last stay here, but my next is next week.
