I actually did it!

I was looking out the bedroom window, thinking I could see something, but Montrose is directly north of us and we get such a glow from the lights there!

The lovely Mr C&D graciously after minimal whinging from me agreed to drive me to the DARK countryside and this is the result!

The Plough AND some Aurora

To say I am a bit overexcited may be underplaying things a little.

Next time I shall take gloves, and a hat and a flask of coffee.

Edited to say we were in the carpark at the top of The Garvock Hill overlooking Laurenckirk and the A90
