Shepherds and Sailors Take Heed

A few days ago, we had red sky at night...followed by a couple of lovely days!

This morning, it was thick, red sky in morning, and as I had always heard, sailors will likely take warning. The other day, I learned from a blip friend, Rexcomu1, the saying, "Red sky at night; Shepherd's delight."

I hadn't realized that, whether you're a shepherd or a sailor, you can interpret the sky and take heed...silly me, it makes sense that when there is no ocean around, you'd think of the other occupations to interpret the sky. Let's see..."red sky at night; fry cook's delight"? Sure...why not?!
