Araneus marmoreus var. pyramidatus (back blip)

We travelled down to Lakenheath Fen yesterday in search of a great white egret. Our quest was successful, but he was too far away for a decent photograph. We also saw a kingfisher, a marsh harrier, some bear dies and a flock of long tailed tits. My favourite photograph of the day was this little chap (although I hate house spiders with a passion, I quite like wild ones).
