Senegal

A friend of mine was working out in Senegal for a spell, so me and a couple of friends (Katherine's two godmothers) decided on a girls' trip out there, and Katherine (then 4) came too.

It was a really great experience for all of us. Conor was then just coming up to one year old and it had been quite a full-on year for the family - he had terrible reflux and was sick (voluminously) after every meal. So, I not only needed a break from all that, but also needed some time with Katherine, who'd been rather neglected.
