Saltburn Pier

I took a lot of pictures of this but for some reason this was the only one I could get transferred from my camera. Need to work on that later!

It first opened in 1869, and in 2009 was voted 'Pier of the Year' - you may see the sign if you look large.

I spoke to another photographer on the scene who was waiting until it was dark. He is doing a project on Flickr where he photographs a Pumpkin at various landmark buildings in the area. Tonight it was to be the turn of the pier. He also pointed me in the direction of some pictorial locations. I must see if I can find his Pumpkin pictures.
