familiar but unboring

I don't take as many early-weekend-morning walks around the hill as I used to, though every now and then I do and every time I pass this point at the same sort of time of the morning (10:01) at the same time of year I remember this picture and wonder about attempting to repeat it with the different cameras and different lenses available since but generally never try; though this version looks a bit ropier than it seemed at the time when viewing at 100% it has a bit of mist, nice light, a nice range of colours and the conditions have never been quite the same on subsequent passings to warrant a new picture for direct comparison.
