What's Left Of The Thistle

Today was the last day that the nearby botanical garden was open. Tomorrow it will be closed until spring next year.

I had a great time there, spotting the most beautiful flowers, bugs, etcetera.
This thistle I blipped before on July the 3rd 2013.


I still hink it is a Echinops bannaticus. Correct me if I'm wrong.
