Just a quick wander....

down to the pond as the light was fading! Spent a great deal of the day trimming bowls etc, and putting the handles on all the other things i've made over the past couple of days.....i am in the grips of the book i've been listening to. Any Human Heart....takes place mostly in England around 1920 thro till i guess around 1990, about the life of Logan Mountstuart, a fictitious writer and all his lives ups and downs. he's quite a likeable chap, bit fucked up really....but it is very entertaining. i'm somewhere like 1960's and he's in New York. It does keep me in the studio for a good length of time. Only 3 more CDs to go!

Last nights house concert was absolutely delightful! the stew and corn bread was totally delicious and the 3 lovely young women playing and singing were great! There were about 35 of us in Peter's farmhouse living room and spilling over into various halls and dining rooms etc. What a great gathering it was. He's planning on doing this quite regularly, which will be good.
