Friday frustration

So a journey that has taken me only 17 minutes door to door (although it's never been known on a Friday!) has taken me nearly an hour and a half tonight. The major problem being a road closure close to home but added to that was Everyone going home slightly earlier, twilight and a torrential downpour. Hellish frustrating on a Friday night when getting home has been the main aim ever since I left the house. The weekend is here now though and a trip to see Richard III in Nottingham is planned. A cultural blip tomorrow ... or maybe shopping.
