Colours of Autumn

We had a lovely day today. I had a day off and it turned out to be beautifully sunny - the first non rainy day this week! We set off for Banchory to visit a friend, enjoying the sunshine on all the lovely autumn colours on the drive over. Our friend took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch - the Farm Shop at Finzean (pronounced 'Fingan'), where everything is home made and absolutely delicious. We had a lovely time catching up, and I snapped this hen who was foraging in the car park as we left. I think she blends in rather well with the autumn leaves!
