November

I've paid for my place at this year's Christmas party, booked up all of my holidays for the rest of the year, started Christmas shopping, turned on the heating, and thought about looking for my gloves. But I can't really believe it's November already. It doesn't seem that long since the heady days of a heat-wave summer.
