Wishing Well . . .

I wish we weren't turning back the clock's tonight, 'cos that means winter's zooming over the horizon . . .

I wish the leaves wouldn't fall off the trees because when they do it's a clear sign that the cold weather's just a few weeks away . . .

I wish the water on the pond would stay blue and tempting and not turn into s sheet of thick ice . . .

I wish I wasn't writing this crap . . .
