Grass

Along with the feathers that this perennial grass gets in the fall, the grass itself turns color. Definitely an eye catcher.

It's the weekend, so spent the day catching up with things I don't have time for during the week - still cleaning up flower containers, all the hanging baskets. Laundry, of course. Two nice walks with Riley. Now getting dinner ready.

Riley will need to have surgery on his left eye - vet said if we leave it alone it will cause scarring and eventually he won't be able to see out of that eye.
