Autumnal

When we went to our friends' vineyard yesterday to pick some of the late to ripen grapes, I also snipped off a few sprays of the leaves because of their gorgeous colours. My intention was to sort of drape them down over the kitchen cupboards somehow, but that didn't work and they're in a vase on the table. At least they're right in front of my eyes!

I can't remember the name of this variety of grape, it's not the usual sort round here (whose leaves are not nearly as bright) as J thought he'd try something different on this particular bit of land. The vines have cropped well though and I think he's quite pleased with his choice.
