A rose on the kitchen windowsill...

Sometimes it is something simple that makes you stop for a few moments and just meditate on the beauty. A single rose in a very old cobalt blue bottle sitting on the kitchen windowsill, one of my favorite places to put flowers from the garden in all different sizes and shapes and colors of old bottles collected over they years. I picked this rose late yesterday and this morning it had opened. So lovely, had to share...
