If you look to the top left of that violin-shaped reflection, you might just see a pointy furry face and a bright eye. This is the downside of a house that's about 150 years old and surrounded by fields. But having had a pet mouse when I was nine, I can't kill them, so they enjoy a few hours in the trip-trap to sleep off a tasty repast of sunflower seeds before heading off on a flight to the great outdoors. When we're finally in a position to refurbish this place, perhaps our little visitors' entrance will be scuppered.
