Braving the waves

Trip to the DIY shop this afternoon was a waste of time, as they didn't have what we wanted in stock! But it was worth the trip in to Berwick to walk on Spittal beach - not especially windy, but the tide was in and the sea quite wild. The sky turned pink as the sun started going down.

We watched this surfer for quite a while. Looked exhilarating!
