Not Porty People and Places

There is a light at the end of the Greek economic crisis tunnel - a very small light according to our guide taking us on a city tour today. As I looked at street after street of closed businesses I think that light is actually much smaller than everyone would like. My blip shows one of the classic Greek guards outside The Parliament sheltering from the midday sun. From here we climbed to the Acropolis and had stunning views of The Parthenon, the city and even a distant funnel of our cruise ship we had left behind down in the port of Piraeus. We were lucky to have the Acropolis virtually to ourselves after the hurly burly of Ephesus yesterday. It was a brilliant place to blip too!

We flew to London Heathrow in the evening and take a flight home to Edinburgh in the morning.
