So I have lots of mini dv of The Boy when he was a baby and have been researching how on earth I am going to get the footage off the tapes and onto my MBP X

I Worked out the lead I need, 4 pin male to 9 pin male for ilink dv....... I have the camcorder and it still works..... Just waiting for the FireWire to Thunderbolt port adaptor to arrive and hopefully I'll be in business x

Now all I need is to find several spare hours in the week to sort it all out x
