Flood Flower

Due to the weather I played around with some indoor shots of flowers today.

I always feel they aren't sufficient on their own so I always end up with a bit of manipulation. This flood effect seemed very appropriate considering the amount of rain we have suffered in the last 24 hours.

The result represents either the flower reflected in a pool of rippling water or alternatively submerged in the pool of water. The latter seems the most appropriate under the circumstances.

I tried a few different flowers but this one seemed to work best.
