The Lowest Place on Earth

Saturday afternoon and we set off to Masada where we’ll be staying for the next 2 nights at the guesthouse. Perfect location for visiting the attractions the dead sea has to offer. Got upgraded to a room double what we paid – win! I’m guessing because there was pretty much just us and another family staying there. Arrived and jumped into the pool for a swim. Might aswell make use of the facilities! It was incredible swimming in the desert right next to Masada. Not everyday you have a view like that when you simply go for a swim.

Then for dinner. We were stocked up pretty well for food as you could imagine with a grandmother like mine! Spinach quiche, potato salad and salad on the menu tonight eating under the stars looking over the dead sea. Bliss.
