Not What I Expected...

We made a trip to the outdoor playground with great anticipation. However, the grand kids were not impressed. They were encumbered with their heavy, thick jackets. The slides were full of snow and the monkey bars were not easily maneuvered with mitts on. And, I had this crazy notion that one of them would get their tongue stuck to a metal piece of equipment.

Well, that did not happen and they made the best of it. Our 4-year-old grand daughter made hand prints in the snow and filled them with "sparkles" (sand). Next time, I do believe I'll try to find indoor play equipment and simply go for a walk outdoors.
