Halifax Minster

In town today, I noticed Halifax Minster. I didn't know Halifax had a minster, it was the pampas grass that caught my eye.
After googling it when I got home. There has been a place of worship at this site for over 900 yrs. one of the country's newest minsters, Halifax parish church was given Minster status in November 2009.
