'Chip Alley.'

This is Caroline Street in Cardiff City centre, named after the wife of George IV. It is fondly known as 'Chip Alley' or 'Chippy Lane' because of the number of fast food shops that it boasts.
It is a favourite place for late night revellers to fill up on on fish and chips, or chicken and chips,or burger and chips, or cheesy chips, or chips with curry sauce.
The street was pedestrianised in 2003, and the pavement made safer to walk on. However, it can still be difficult to keep upright on the greasy surface - especially after a few bevies.
Or so I am told!
