I've been listening in to the debate over the Brand/Paxman interview. Brand is a very eloquent speaker - although I heard someone describe his style as bratish. But, he even won Paxman over - a bit. And he does have a point about the way we run our democracy. It's a democracy of limited choice - you can vote for an apple, another apple, an apple flavoured pear, a stick of rhubarb or an organic potatoe. I'd like to see a guava and perhaps a few nuts in there. I may put none of the above next time I visit a poling booth. It's a shame we can't vote for or against the corporate multinationals. They're the real f*****s.
