Bye Bye Carpet

I'm still laying the laminate. My floor is not as even as I thought it was, and this is causing havoc. I'm having to level the floor out as I go along, just to get the boards to fit together. I've laid lots of laminate before ... this has been the worst experience to date. I'll get it done, but it will take longer.

The cats are not so impressed. They can't scratch anymore, as they could with the old carpet! They do however like to chase a table tennis ball across the laminate floor ... great fun :-)

Hoping that Celtic can do the business in Amsterdam tonight .... fingers crossed.
