Town House

This is where we were treated to a lovely dinner at the research students conference last night. This is the Inverness Town House, which holds the distinction of being the only place in the UK to host a full Cabinet Meeting outside London. It happened in 1921 (I think) when several members were in Scotland shooting and needed to hold an emergency session to deal with the situation in Ireland. It is beautiful inside.
