Beauty , dignity and calm ...

I first found this picture 25 years ago at a very difficult time in my life. I had started a new job, in a new place ,under sad circumstances. I cut out this beautiful face from a journal at work and put the picture on the wall above my desk .It is a small unframed photo but it has inspired me all these years. Who is she I wonder? I still treasure this portrait and it is still above my desk here at home.
Today has been busy and disrupted with kitchen units being fitted! And...we are packing to go away for a few days to Florence. I am looking forward to taking some photos and I have a new camera to explore ! I love blip. It makes me look closely.
