White Anemone

Sometimes it is difficult to tell if an anemone is white or a very pale blue. This one is like that. The centre is navy blue and the petals have subtle hints of purple and green. Some, but not all of the green in this shot is reflected from the foliage behind. Another white that is blooming at present has a very pale green centre.

I used the clone stamp to get rid of some irritating specks of dust blown up by the wind.

Thanks to those of you who were concerned about my CT scan yesterday. It was part of an ongoing series of tests, the results of which will not be known for some weeks. Meanwhile, I'm doing fine by distracting myself with photography and Blipfoto.
