Lit & Phil

Part of the entrance hall at the Literary and Philosophical Society in Newcastle, which is one of the oldest libraries still going. This place was the first ever place to officially have electric lighting and these lights are kept in the original style, as is the rest of the building. An amazing place to visit, I will be back!
