Mariasme

Out of bed and into the car heading for Tamarama in the dark morning. Rosy mist along the beach. A few photographers milling, shooting down among the installations on the sand. Quiet intent, moving tripods, framing another view, a different slant of the pink light.

I climb the sandstone steps, as joggers & dogs pass. Knots of snappers block the path, the view.
The pastel sun slips out of the water, gently, a spirit of mist.
