Hong Kong Orchid Flowers

The Hong Kong Orchid tree is a wonderful flowering tree that I often admire in our landscapes. It is obviously from the name not a native, but it is colorful and adds to the beauty of a yard. They were often planted in the last 40 or so years in Florida and you often see them in mature landscapes. I don't see them in the plant nurseries much anymore, but love them in a yard, especially when they are flowering.
