Bit of a strange week this week and I've missed two consecutive blips :( A sad anniversary, a birthday and the kids' school hitting the headlines in the local press for all the wrong reasons.

In other news Big Bloke enjoyed a relaxing week at home, the Little Ginger Boy went to Chess Club and decided he would quite like to learn to play the piano, and Sporty Boy is spending the night at his grandad's so as to be ready for the early start to Grimsby tomorrow for the local FA Cup derby. The last time I went to Grimsby Town FC we got caught up in a melee of bottle throwing outside the ground and I have my fingers crossed it all goes off ok this time.
