Terror

Today we walked Andrassy ut from Heroes Square, which is lined with huge houses, embassies and consulates at the top and shops, cultural venues and cafes at the bottom. This is a fairly new museum, the House of Terror, which "contains exhibits related to the fascist and communist dictatorial regimes in 20th-century Hungary and is also a memorial to the victims of these regimes, including those detained, interrogated, tortured or killed in the building." It's more a sobering than an uplifting experience.
