Celebrate Success Awards

So attended the Princes Trust Celebrate Success Awards last night at the Millennium Centre, Cardiff. One of my students from last year was nominated for the Welsh Educational Achiever award, and made it through to the final 3. Sadly she did not win, but I cried through most of the ceremony, hearing the amazing and inspiring stories of all the winners. We have some truly incredible young people! It reminds me why I do what I do!!!!!
Today my current student went out in the pouring rain to plant some trees for their sustainability project, and actually worked well together as a team to get it all done :) its just a shame they didn't all turn up :(
