Wildlife sanctuary

This is a photo of College Lake near Tring in Buckinghamshire (Bucks). We went here with our friends today, but unfortunately the rain prevented us from taking the 2mile walk around and we had to content ourselves with the view from the hides near the entrance.

Certainly a place to revisit another time when the weather is better.

Good meal tonight in "The George and Dragon" in Wendover, which despite the incongruity of the name, besides being a pub is also a Thai Restaurant! Been here before ... will come again I'm sure.

I guess its a lesson that a name does not tell the whole story.
